Project Details

The Salvation Army Republic of Ireland Annual Report 2019 details the many ways the organisation is helping the most disadvantaged people in our society. In 2019, there were more than 10,000 homeless people in Ireland, the majority were single adults but there has been an increasing number of families presenting as homelessness. In Dublin, The Salvation Army operates seven residential centres for young people, single adults, couples and families. These centres provide more than 128,000 beds a night every year to people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
