The brief for this project was to create an identity for this international conference which is strong, clear and accessible to people from different cultural backgrounds and age groups. The logo suggests an embrace of reading which is in accordance with the aims of the Reading Association of Ireland and the International Reading Association, who jointly commissioned
A die-cut folder and brochure was produced for this conference which is held once every two years at different locations around Europe, to help promote literacy. Professor Italya (Moscow) described the designs as ‘a model for all future reading conference material’. The designs show that two colour printing can be used with effective results.
